Adult Spelling Be Competition

February 7, 2025

Teams consist of four adults who will spell words in three rounds (easy, intermediate, and difficult). Each round will last 20 minutes. The pronouncer will call out a word and use it in a sentence. Your team decides on the spelling and writes it on a sheet that is provided. The judge determines if the word is spelled correctly. As long as your team spells correctly, you are in the game. Oops, did you miss one? No worries, you can buy it and stay in the contest until the final round. If you would like to purchase additional words after the game has begun, the cost is $20 per word. Additional words can be purchased up until the elimination round. No smartphones or smart watches are allowed during the Spelling Bee.
